- しもいちだんかつよう【下一段活用】動詞の活用形式の一。 語尾が五十音図のエ段を不変化部分とし， 未然形・連用形以外はそれに「る」「れ」「ろ」（文語では「ろ」の代わりに「よ」）の音が規則的に添加された形に活用するもの。 「上げる」「越える」などの類（口語）。 文語では「蹴(ケ)る」の一語のみ。
